I have a lexmark x4650 wireless printer but it wont connect to my netgear,i have put in all the right info ?

i have a netgear and i have put in all the right information but it still says connection failed.I can use the printer with the usb cable,i have turned off the firewall and removed avg but still no joy (the firewall is now back on)
