I have a lien on my registration. what can i do to re register it?

  1. Usually oklatom is dead on, but in this case, some states WILL block your registration renewal if you owe back taxes.  Check with the DMV/tax office in your county and see what/how much you owe.  You'll have to clear the lien before you can re-register your vehicle.


  2. Depending in what state you are in, you will have to pay it and then pay and outstanding fee's to have it current.  There is interest occured in this.  

  3. Liens are not on registrations, liens are on titles by listing the lender as the legal owner.

    If your registration is due, pay it an you'll get a new card and sticker.  If it isn't it doesn't need to be "re-registered".

    You get liens off titles by paying off the loan and getting a lien release.
