I have a liscence to smoke marijuana

My doctor gave me a license to use marijuana to deal with back pain. My company drug tested me last week and even though I showed them my license they fired me. I can understand that, but will I be eligible for Unemployment Insurance? It's not like I was doing anything wrong- I was legally using it.

You can sue them but I doubt you would win. If the company policy states no drug use then thats the policy. You're fired

they can not fire u for an unfair reason so u can legally sue them an get ur job back or use the unemployment insurance
