  1. are you really that stupid keep them apart or you will br over run with them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. about 7 months but don't let them be by eachother when they are about 7 months maybe a little more than put her in his cage any more questions e-mail me at birdgirl125@yahoo.com

  3. Some good answers above, but as I run a rescue centre which takes in more than its fair share of rabbits, I would advise you to have the male neutered and the female spayed asap.

Dont be surpised if both rabbits 'mount' each other over the coming few weeks, both male and female will do it. Its a dominance thing as opposed to a 'breeding' thing.

    However

Reason No1 - There is no shortage of baby rabbits looking for homes. Those that cant be found homes are either released to almost certain death, neglected to the point of death, or end up with us, or people like us who then have to deal with animals who are unwanted and often unhandled.

Reason No2 - Spaying the female should enable it to live longer. Female rabbits are particularly prone to Ovaran cancer, severely shortening their lifespan.

Reason No 3 - If you want to have a pair of contented pets who are responsive to you, its best not to let them breed. You will then find that YOU become the most important member of their family.

I hope you decide on a responsible course of action.

  4. STOP BEING AN IRRESPONSIBLE BACK YARD BREEDER, AND GO GET A FREAKING LIFE.

  5. Females are able to breed after 5 months of age. Male rabbits at 6 months.

The physical act of giving birth takes a very short time, normally around 15-20 minutes.

The gestation period (the time a bunny is pregnant) is between 28 -34 days depending on the bunny.

  6. a year x

  7. the female bunny has to be at least 6 months... (kind until she gets her period) but after that once she gets it, she might get a type of cancer because you didn't spay her early enough!!! is breeding you bunny worth her dying??? spay rabbits could live up to 5 years longer than not spayed rabbits!!!

  8. If you plan on breeding, the doe will hve to be 6 months. The buck will have to be 6 months too. Once you breed them it will be 31 days. To make sure she is ready, flip her on her back and spread her vent. If it is dark red or purple, she is ready to breed. If it is white or pale pink you need to wait. Don't keep them together. They need to be separate. I they stay together until maturity, she won't be interested in breeding him.

  10. Oh my god you should be enjoying your bunnies not trying to breed them they are still babies.I did not breed my rabbitts until they were 3 years old my advice to you is take the rabbits back to where you got them you are not responsible enough to own any pet.

  11. HI THERE!! I THINK U WOULD NEED TO DO SOME READING ABOUT RABBITS B4 THINKING ABOUT BREEDING THEM!!

  12. My answer, get them spayed and neutered now. Don't breed them. There are plenty of rabbits already, you don't need to create even more.
