what is your definition of spoiled?

mine is when some one get whatever they want from there parents without saying thanks and actually meaning it and dont take what i have for granted i actually appreciate it!! now that just my opinion

but i kinda want your oppinion in something

i overheard my mom talking to my aunt and she said that they(mom & dad) have to stop spoiling me so much

i never really thought i was spoiled cause i always say thanks and my dad says that i get everything i want cause i have a 4.0 in school umm

but anyways do you think i am?....i only wear designer stuff i hate abercrombie hollister AE etc. i go shopping one a week and always spend more the 500 dollars i have two walk in closets full of clothes and shoes and purses i have two room(there supposed to be for twins but i ended up getting both) i have my own bathroom and yeahh

im not going to name how many items of clothing and how many shoes i have cause i dont count and im not going to name every single thing that i own we live in upper east side Manhattan so we can afford it but i dont brag it to everyone that i have all that stuff honestly i know that there people out there that have nothing and because of that i donate my stuff and donate money

i never thought i was cause my parent always said that i deserve it for getting such good grades but what do you think?

  1. it is a little spoiled, a lot of people get 4.0 and still get told they arnt good enough, YOu should be happy your a good person, but NO ONE needs that manys items of clothing

  2. and you say i was bragging?

  3. Yes you are spoiled .... very ... some people don't earn in a week that you spend on clothes ...

but saying that you are aware of the fact.

People say i am spoiled as i had a house bought for me, car, and other bits and pieces but i work and i work hard, my parents are too wealthy and they just give out bonuses every now and then, but i never sit around waiting for it ... i work and provide for my family.

you are getting good grades so therefore you are rewarded.

I don't see a problem with that but compared to the average person yes you are spoiled and me too!

If you tell your friends what you get then you are a spoilt brat, i say nothing to no-one about what i am given and just plod along in life ... then your friends don't get jealous.

  4. i would have to agree with you i think being spoiled is when you get everything you want and have everything handed to you on a silver platter to me there is no responsibility to a person who gets everything the ask for no matter what their age

  5. ^^^^^^ omg im getting really sick of her!!!!!!!

    anyways,

im just like you in so many ways, i live in a kinda wealthy kinda town, do u know what im talking about? well anyways, your not spoiled if you work hard and i have a 4.0 to and i get stuff because my parents like to reward me for my hard work, so i guess if you didn't have a 4.0 you would be, but you seem really nice and hard working so i don't think you are!!!

    hope i helped!!

p.s.- is there anyway i can like block californiaaagirlaaa she is like kinda rude??

  6. I don't know about spoiled because you seem to have a good heart and understand others don't have as much as you. It does seem like you are materialistic, though. Do you know that 90% of the population can't shop every week and spend $500? That's just sick! I think your parents give you a lot because they have a lot, but they now realize they have to pull back. I worry, because to keep you in the life style you are used to you will have to have a great paying job or a husband who does, but with your smarts, it seems like you will succeed. Good luck.

  7. Ridiculously spoiled. You may have earned it with good grades (which is great), BUT ask yourself how happy you'd be if suddenly all the material stuff was gone. I just lost my $65K a year job 4 months ago, and suddenly I find myself losing my apartment, clipping coupons, cashing in all my savings, etc. It's been incredibly humbling. You can't count on that stuff to always be there. And the stuff that you EARN instead of having it handed to you always means so much more. I was always about fancy restaurants, expensive spas, etc. Now being flat broke, I managed to save a little one month and went out to dinner for the first time in three months. It tasted better than anything I had previously. Because it didn't come easy. Being born into privlege, you'll never truly know how great it feels to work for something.  (by the way, Ms. 4.0, it's spelled "chauffer")  ;-)
