Make a terrarium. My sister painted a window silver and hung it on the wall and it looks good.

Use them for a hot bed or small greenhouse. Donate them to artists that like to paint murals on them.

put them for sale in your local craigslist rather than start a make work project that you will have to store somewhere

Get a poster you like and about same size as window,some silk flowers and vines.Take the poster and mount it on the wall at window height,take silk flowers and hang on poster. Now take your window and install it over your poster,with a little effort,.trim and ingenuity your window will come out looking like a real one, with you looking outside!!Try it you'll love it!!

I had a friend who sanded the old frames stained them and put mirrors behind them - they sold for about 50. to $100. each. These are considered treasures for some people  - put a free add in your local paper and you will have a lot of takers, I'm sure.
