  1. It sounds like you have a cyst. I would get it looked at, but usually as long as it doesn't get any bigger they won't do anything about it. It will go away on its' own.

  2. Wiggle your fingers individually. If that causes the bump to move around, it's a ganglion. If it doesn't move, you just have a bone that sticks out. I have a bone that sticks out and it only gives me trouble when I bump it into things.

  3. You should have this examined as no one here can tell you exactly what this is . . it is possible for cancer to occur in this location as well as benign conditions such as a cyst. You will need a clinical examination though. The type of cancer associated with this location is usually a sarcoma . . which is a cancer of the muscles, bone, tendons, joints, cartiliage, ligaments, and blood vessels. Melanoma and other types of skin cancer can also occur . .but the lump is suggestive of sarcoma. Cancer is generally painless in the early stages, so you need to have this checked.

  4. it is probably what is known as a ganglion cyst..  I just had one removed several months ago.  It usually does not cause any pain, just annoying at times. Your physician can tell you for sure....

  5. It sounds like a Ganglion Cyst. My daughter had one removed by her doctor.

  6. A doctor is the only one who can diagnose it, it can not be done over the internet, even if one of us was a Doctor. And I doubt if many of us are.

It could be a cyst. If it has not changed much in that amount of time, it probably is not too serious. But see a doctor and find out.

  7. If it's not hurting leave it alone! I have one and I thought it was a ganglion cyst and tried to pop it. It was tendinitis. Because I had aggravated it I had to get a cortisone injection to stop the pain but the lump is still there.
