Spay & neuter is a simple solution. Two random dogs shouldn't be given the opportunity for accidents to happen, and they always do. For their health & your piece of mind, have them both altered ASAP.

Yes this is normal... You should be keeping them separated if they are both not fixed, unless you want puppies.
