I have a macbook computer and my sims plays so slow. PLEASE HELP!!?

Okay so I have Sims 2, Sims 2 University, Sims 2 Nightlife and Sims 2 Seasons. I downloaded off the internet a bunch of furniture and stuff and now my sims runs SOO slow, it takes like 3 min to load the first page! :S

Are there any patched for Macs that will delete all the things I don't need on my computer? I still have 10.4 MB of space on my computer so it should still work fine. And I don't have any downloads that should mess up the game either.

Getting rid of your custom content will help with the speed of the game, but ultimately, the amount of memory and your graphics card will determine how good the game plays.  If you have an expansion pack you're not playing, you could uninstall one.  That will free up a lot of space on your computer.

get rid of any  of  the file smovies  mp3's and other  things  you do not need  

your hard drive is choking  mac os X is choking as  well  

free up at least  5  or more gig  and  you wil notice a remarkable improvement  

depending on your macbook version you either have a intel gma 950  or a x3100  

the  950 is vile and barley able to  run the  gui of  os X  let alone run  3d games

it can run  the sims 2   but  just barley

Very little hard drive space is the one contributor to the slow performance , least you should have is 5 gbs. Also it could be a video card problem , depending on how old it is.
