I figured it's nature for her to let the male mount her. Is it common for chis or any dogs to reject certain mates? She will growl and bite him so he has to hump the blankets and stuff. Will she ever let in to him? How often do chis have heat cycles? I'm pretty sure she's had to have one at least. They have been together for a while.

  1. She will have absolutely  NO interest in him until she is in season. Then she will allow him to breed her for about 9 days....and that is ALL  she will bite his head off if he tries at any other time, than when she is ovulating.

First she comes in season...her v***a will swell, then there will be blood for about a wk,  then after the blood fades away is when she will be ovulating.  That is when she will allow him to breed her.  When that time is over..about 9 days....again, she will still be swollen but not ovulating..so can't get pregnant.  Then after  3 wks...it will be over!!

  2. yea some females will not let certain males around if they don't like them just like human females lol. you may want to neuter your male to save yourself headaches of wondering why they don't like each other.

  3. Get them spay/neutered , you know nothing about breeding. Females refuse to be mounted unless they are in heat. Chis are also known for c-sections, your female could even die.

  4. UGH.  She is not going to allow him to mount her if she's not in season.  Also, humping generally is a show of dominance.  Girls do it to girls, boys to boys, etc.  Please get them both altered.  They will both be a lot healthier and happier.  She won't get mammary tumors, he won't have testicular cancer.  If you are this uneducated about general dog breeding you are not ready to have a litter.

  5. yeah when she thinks hes mature enough she will give in hes still a puppy on the inside no matter his age he may or may not grow out of it

  6. Get your dogs spayed and neutered.  You obviously don't know what you're doing, so in the best interest of the dogs and possible future puppies, just get them spayed and neutered.

  7. If she's not in heat, she will not like it!! You need to make that c**p stop now. It's not cute and you're instilling bad habits,.. leaving them intact that is. He's humping because he wants to prove his dominance, once again not cute.

Get them spayed and neutered. It could very easily cost her her life if she gets pregnant esp. when you know little about it. Do you want the very best for her??????

  8. They'll hump, just give it time. It sounds like you already know about heat cycles, and don't need me to tell you that if she isn't in heat she doesn't want some over-excited chihuahua jumping all over her like a highschool boyfriend.

  9. Mating is the EASIEST part of breeding, if you cannot even handle that, then you obviously have no idea what you are in for.  You have chi's, most if not all the time, chi's require a ($1000+) C-section.  Spay and neuter your animals, b/c you will be putting your ***** in mortal danger along with the ill-bred litter she will produce.

  10. Are you trying to breed her? In many cities, there are close to 50,000 pets each year that have no homes and no one to take care of them because of over breeding. I think breeding your dog would be irresponsible. Get her spayed....PLEASE!!!
