Question:

I have a massive beer belly, (not all fat) how can I reduce it?

I have had a large stomach since I was a kid, even throughout a 10 year period when I was a super fit athlete. Now its enormous, like I'm pregnant. It doesn't seem to be fat as such, its bloated. Thats not to say there isnt fat around my waist, its just mainly stomach. I always used to think it was poor posture, prior to actually drinking beer! Any advice on what to do?

    How much do you eat? Will help with the advice I give if I know roughly what you eat in a given day.

  3. ok lol one thing stop drinking beer...and cut low on the fat things that you eat and eat protien bars and some more peanutt butter it might semm fatening but it has alot of protien so ok after eating the protien bars and peanutt butter do situps and if u have an ab lounge use it and when you do the situps you have to do atleast 300 a day and time it like do it in 20minutes of 10minutes thats my advise it worked for ym freind max so it might work for you

  5. If you have a "beer belly" that is not soft and jiggly, but is turgid (hard or firm) the first thing you need to do is schedule a physical with your doctor. You need to rule out a possible problem with your liver. Your liver runs across your abdomen just a few inches below your nipples and is the heaviest organ in the human body. (And largest next to the skin) If it grows larger or becomes diseased it is often represented in a larger firm feeling "beer gut". Since you had this problem when you were younger, and even when you were an athlete, you need to rule out any kind of serious illness. If your doctor clears you and tells you it is water weight (or some of it is) he can prescribe you a diruretic which will help you pee out that excess water. You can also buy them over the counter in the medicine aisle, or you can use coffee or a laxative, or other kinds of diuretic agents.

    To lose weight you need to cut out beer, it is really fattening. I try to limit my beer or drink hard alcohol when I really want a drink. A glass of red wine is healthy for your heart also.

    If your doc says you are healthy enough to start to lose weight then cut down your calories, cut out fatty foods, fried foots, fast foods, sugar, etc. and do some form of cardio for at least 45 minutes three times a week. You can lift weight if you want to firm up. And remember, the more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism gets!

    Some people, especially men, tend to store their body fat in their abdomen, and have a difficult time getting it off. Don't feel bad about it, but please remember that fat on the abdomen has been linked to heart disease and high blood pressure (which is deadly) so it is in your best interest to reduce that belly fat.

  6. Im sure some of it could be fat underneath the muscle. you need to get rid of the fat first.  Not saying to stop drinking the beer but maybe cut back a few. you can try Phentramin D from this site

  9. so like those football players it's not fat for sure, but it's not really muscle either...well, have you considered long distance running not marathons or anything yet, but 4-7miles 5 days a week to make you sweat and shed some weight.  Eat health i'm guessing you eat lots of meat, try fish or I love pasta, but don't over eat if you are trying to lose the stomach.  Don't dig into the chips and sodas right after a work out for sure.  once you have lost some weight it will be easier for you to do other exercise routines like weights, sit ups, push ups.

  10. Do excercises that work on your belly region, like touching your toes while standing, repeatedly...Uhh, i dunno, get an ab lounge...oh, and stop drinking the beer...Can only do u and ur liver good.
