  1. Drill a very small hole in the back of the lock.  Take a small piece of wire and insert in the hole.  Turn the dial of the lock.  As the tumblers go into place the wire can  be inserted further.  Write down the numbers as you advance the wire and that will be your combination.

  2. I took mine to a lock smith, and he was able to give me the combinations > for a fee.

  3. Sorry. With a normal code you can reset. But with a master lock lock, the only solution is to ask your ISP for a new code or to reset the hard disk. Most ISPs will not accept a new master lock lock, so in the end, the cheapest solution is going to be either a new laptop or erasing your drive c:

In my own experience erasing c: and reinstalling Windows is the way to go Its so much simpler and quicker in the end than trying to mess about with master lock locks.  If in doubt then talk to your local geek, usually with those types a bj will be fine and you get it fixed.

  4. Aw, dude. I cracked open like 5 locks in my PE class last year. You need about an hour and a half, maybe more or less depending on your luck. First, yank on the shackle an spin it until it locks itself. Write down that number. Keep doing it until you get all 12 numbers. Now, check out those numbers again. When the spindle locks, sometimes, it is between 2 numbers, sometimes it is on one number. On certain a certain few numbers, the lock is on the dot. You should get 5 of these, 3 of which should end with the same number. One of these should either be the last, or the first of the 3 number combinations. Now, try all of those 12 numbers in turn. Remember, it can't start with zero. So if your numbers are 0,4, 6, 10, 14, 17, 20, 24, 37, 30, 34, 37, then you see that 4 comes up often and those ending with 4 should be on the line when you turn it and it stops moving. Therefore, you would try this combo first: 4-6-40, then 4-6-4, 4-6-10, and so on, and you will need about 1 1/2 hours.
