  1. If the chain is worn and in need of replacement, you're best having a new chain installed at a bike shop.  To replace it yourself, you'll need to get the correct size chain and a special tool to shorten it to the correct length.  Your bike shop might charge (parts & labor) around $25 to install a 7speed chain.

They can also replace your rear tire tube (doubt you need to replace the tire as well).  Figure paying them $10 for this.

If your chain isn't worn out but a bit dirty/rusty, you can bring it back to life with a good cleaning/lubing.

If money is a concern, you can replace the rear tube yourself with some basic skills.  Just pick up a replacement tube (get a spare while you're at it) in the correct size.  Just a few bucks for the tube.  If you do this, make sure to check the tire (inside & outside) for the culprit that caused the flat.  Inflate to correct pressure and ride.
