I have a metallic belt buckle?

that goes with a uniform i need to wear it has scratches on the buckle and i was wondering if there is a household item to remove the scratches or make them less noticeable and shine the buckle also if u could help me i would appreciate it!

I'm sure you have some car wax in the garage, try that.

You do not say what metal the buckle made of so it is hard to give a good answer.

If it is Silver then silver polish will shine it up, or brasso works well on Brass and Copper.

If you do not have those polishes try just plain soap, water and lots of elbow grease.
