I have a micro cassette recording of a telephone conversation which has background noise?

this was a conversation made between my husband and a person he was having an affair with.is there anyone who specialises in removing this background noise leaving conversation intact

  1. There are audio programs that you can buy or even download for free (like Audacity at download.com) that you can use to filter out the noise and make the conversation more clear. The thing I would suggest is making a digital file of the recording first. If your micro-cassette recorder has a line out jack or even a headphone jack, you can connect it (via a wire) into the 'line in' of your computer and dump the audio (via a program) onto your computer. From there you can turn it into an mp3 and clean up the audio. You may even be able to find some one or company who you could email it to and have them clean it up for you. It's very easy once its been made into a digital file to clean it up. Good luck.
