  1. What you want is a 12 volt, (assuming it's a 12 volt motor) deep cycle marine battery with as many Amp hours and cold cranking amps as you can afford. The more the better ( incase you want to use the battery for starting an engine). The electric motor will run off of any battery with the same voltage as the motor. A deep cycle marine battery is made specifically for your application. Deep cycle, in laman's terms means it has reserve power to run your electric motors, lights, etc. for a longer period. That would be your Amp Hours. Cold cranking amps, really don't have a lot to do with it on an electric motor. Cold cranking amps are the amps that, that battery is capable of producing quickly and for a short period of time when cold, such as when starting a gas engine.

If you divide the amp hours of the battery by 34 it will give you a close idea how many hours the battery will last.

  3. no. ur motor runs on 6,12 or 18 volt. most of these batteries produce at least 300 cca. (cold cranking amps). ur  motor uses 34 of the amps avaible.

  4. Trolling motors come in Volt levels. Either a 12 volt, 24 volt or 36 volt system. All motors will run on a 12 volt battery but if they are 24 volt or 36 volt they will not be very efficient. A 12 volt will run a few minutes on 24 volt but it soon burns up the internal electronics. A 34 AMP battery (if there is such a thing) will probably last for 10 minutes or so. Most good deep draw batteries are 115 AMPS or more. You could have a 24 volt or a 36 volt trolling motor. You will need two or three batteries hooked together to provide the power. Be sure what you have first because a 24 volt will not last long hooked to a 36 volt system. I think that what you have is a Minn Kota Model 34. That is just the model name and has nothing to do with its power requirements. Be sure to check but I think you have an older model 12 volt hand contol unit.
