I have a misdemeanor 2006 and im on probation until 2011...

any of you guys know if i could lie on my application form about this and you guys think they will find out?

It depends on the company and if they do background checks.

For a misdemeanor it is not even necessary to lie on an application, because applications only require that you list felonies. They might ask if you have been arrested. Try to say as little as possible without lying. If they catch you lying they will not hire you for sure, but if you leave information out of your answers they will understand why.

Most companies will not do a thorough background check, so you should be fine. If it's a small company you can most likely get away with lying. Any large corporation will catch it though.
