It's the police officers union, don't know why they'ed be calling you, but it's probably not police type business.

Most likely a scam, I would either, ignore it or turn them in to the police union.

Police Officers Union. They are telemarketing... trying to collect donations for police officers. Since they are a government agency they are not held in check by the "Do Not Call" Registry rules. They are just as annoying as regular telemarketers.
