I have a mitsubishi tv and I am trying to get it out of 480i strech to 1080i, how do I do that?

I found a format button that cycles through different 480i styles( stretch, narrow, ect) but still no 1080i

You need a 1080i signal to get those formats to appear....

So get the HDMI input or the Component input connected from your box to your TV set first....

Then make sure your HD converter is outputting 1080 and NOT 480.....

Then you will see the 1080 standard and zoom modes appear....

it's either in your menu... or the way your wired.. most likely menu!
