I have a movie in mpeg-4 format i tried to put it on my PSP but it said it was the wrong format?

i was under the impression that psp used mp4 for video I have a converter (for movies to PSP) and it converts them to MPEG-4 how ever the sound is aac or acc cant remember any way i would like some suggestion as to waht to do to get this movie onto my PSP (its 300!) or a converter that may do better because for some reason the converter i have right now will not recognize the file no matter if i put it in a folder or just on the desktop it does not show up in the options for converting, on top of that i have already converted a movie but it started as an avi and opend in windows media this one is MPEG-4 but opens in Quick time

thr u can download video converters which are absolutely free and have no trial period n stuff lyk dat not even watermarks !!  it works reely awesum ,... and its way too fast ... works for my ipod and psp too ..

and sometimes it doesnt work even if its mp4 format because the resolution is wrong. it has to be 320x240. in this converter, make the resolutin 320x240 if you have problems still contact me
