  1. Stick with the MTX. Try to avoid mixing and matching brands. If you go with the two 15 inch dual coils you should wire the voice coils in series rather than in paralell. In other words run your positive wire from your amp into the positive terminal of voice coil one. Then you run the wire from the negative terminal of voice coil one into the positive terminal of voice coil two. You then run the wire from the negative terminal of voice coil two back to the negative terminal of your amplifier. This will take your ohms from four to two. Check the rms wattage of your amp at 2 ohms. You want your amp to push about two thirds of the wattage of your speakers to avoid damage to either one. All of this information should be available in the papers that come with your new stereo equiptment or the kicker website has been of great help to me. I have three amps equaling three thousand watts, 2 twelve inch L7's, Two one thousand watt eight inch subs, Two 6.5 inch mids, Two 6x9 cmponents, Four 4x6 components and two 1.5 inch tweeters. All installed myself with the help of the kicker website. Good luck!

  2. I just bought subwoofers from Fi, they are the best money can buy, some seriously good subwoofers, great sound quality and straight up SPL.

  3. If you get 2 of the HCCA 15.4 you will be more than pleased. You wire them parallel/parallel. You'll end up with a 1 ohm load and get full power from the amp. (3000rms @ 1 ohm) If you only want one sub, see if they offer it in a dual 2 ohm configuration. Wire the coils in parallel and viola another 1 ohm load.
