I have a mustang question?

I have a 2007 v6 Mustang and I found out my gauge lights change colors, they have 125 different colors. But I looked on the Ford website, and they said that it's on premium v6s and premium Gt's. So was this aftermarket? Or did they make some v6's with the changing gauge lights?

It's just really bothering me.

And I don't need comments about how S****y you think my car is, that wasn't my question.

  1. I have a 2007 mustang gt. They are awesome. My car has the interior upgrade package. The MyColor gauge was part of that package.

  2. Well according to FORD... i would think this was probably put on the the car after factory... but it can still be the exact same part that FORD used in the other models...

I would call or drop by a FORD dealer and ask the Service writters if they can help you figure this out...

  3. I worked in a ford dealership and never heard of this. I guess you learn something everyday. It could have been a special order from the factory, aftermarket, or just a factory s***w up.

  4. I think that the new Mustangs are georgeous. The lights are an option on some Mustangs, standard on others. Your owners manual should tell you how to control the colors. If you don't have a manual with your car (some people take them out- if you bought it used. If you got it new you got one with the car-if not, go to the dealer and tell them that they forgot to put it in- it comes with every new car at no charge). If you don't have a manual, the dealer can give you tha address to send for one- they usually run around $25 or so, give or take.
