Question:

I have a navy, almost black stone with tiny white specks bought at a gem/mineral show. I dont know what it is.

When looking at the stone, it looks like the night sky full of stars. It's been polished on one side. On the unpolished side, the "stars" are a bit harder to see, but there. I'd like to know the name of it in order to find other stones like this one.
