I have a new 5 dollar bill its 06 series ?

i got a new 5 dollar bill the one with color and my friend said if its in the 2006 series its worth 50$ and i'm just wondering if i should take it to the bank to get 50$ or if i shouldn't cause that would pretty embarrassing

Your friend is wrong. All of the new colorized $5 bills are Series 2006.
