Question:

I have a new BT Home Hub?

The phone light is not on. I can make outgoing calls but incoming calls go straight to the BT 1571 answering service.

Any ideas how I change the settings to receive incoming calls?

  1. As above me said :)  and I also have the BT home hub and found it the easiest wireless network to set up for both laptops. It is simplicity in itself and very reliable unlike how long you have to wait for a call to be answered by BT.


  2. The best thing you can do is cancel your contract and change to a better service provider. I know lots of people who have had the Home Hub and all of them have had serious problems. The customer service is poor and you never get the answer you want.

  3. Ring Tech Support- 0800 328 1605

    Press option 1, and option 1 again.

    you may have to wait 5 min but its worth waiting for.

    i have used the tech support many times, the are great and will sort you out in no time.

    KEEP THE TEL NO HANDY, YOU MAY WANT TO USE IT FOR SOME OTHER PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE.

  4. You need to switch off the hub at the electric mains socket for 2 minutes and then switch it back on.

    Once it has reset itself ( all the lights have stopped flashing)your hub 'phone will be back to normal.
