Coping DVD I always use AVS DVD Copy. It copies personal home video in the original quality even protected ones.

You don't. That's why they are copy protected.

Also, if you are trying to copy a movie DVD, it's just not a matter of copying the DVD. The type of DVD movies are recorded on are multi-layered and can't be copied onto a standard DVD.

your DVD writer may not even have the ability to write to multi-layered DVDs.
