  1. Strawberries, marshmallows, grape, banana, most other fruits and fudge are all really nice.

  2. melted chocolate and fresh strawberries or sponge cake to dip in it

melted caramels and fresh apple slices or sponge cake to dip in it

melted cheese with bread, veggie, or fruit chunks to dip in it

fill it with oil, slice an assortment of veggies and meats, like pork, chicken etc and every one cooks what they like

fill it with chili con queso and give everyone chips or cornbread chunks to dip in it, have fun, there are a million things you can do with a fondue pot

  3. Chocolate:

    Strawberries

    Bananas

    Grapes

    Cantelope

    Honeydew

    Pineapple

    Cheesecake

    Sponge/Pound/Angel Food Cake

    Marshmallows

    Graham Crackers

    Cheese:

    Bread

    Crackers

    Apples (Granny Smith)

    Carrots

    Broccoli

    Cauliflower

  4. Well - first up is it cheese fondue or chocolate because that'll make all the difference!

Chocolate favourite has to be strawberries (and don't forget you can use white or dark choc!)

Cheese is nice with meats or breads.. My partner used to have banana with his but he's never convinced me to try that one - apparently it's very nice though!

  5. If its a chocolate fondue, then the best things to use are strawberries and marshmallows.  Most fruit is suitable, just cut it up and probably best to use skewers/wooden sticks.

    Have fun experimenting!

  6. i guess you will have to decide if it will be for sweet or cheese.since the cheese one has to be in the "pot" where you sort of spread-rub- raw garlic on-original swiss recipe.that one has emental and gruyere cheeses grated with the big holes of the grater-.white wine and kkirschliquor, and nutmeg. you can start like that and then experiment with other cheese:half emental, half monterrey jack...or a little blue cheese.

you can dip chunk of day old bread or pieces of veggies.broccoli-not too soft, zucchini.jalapeno peppers,mushrooms....different kinds of bread-remember it has to be a little hard or it will float on the fondue...

serve a salad to go with it with a very light dressing,a tangy one.lemony.and go really light on the dessert to.just fruit sorbet with a purée of fresh beries,starwberries...

the person who "looses" its chunk of bread first in th fondue pot has to throw the next fondue party of get a bottle of wine.

  7. Chocolate and fruit. Put out little squares of fruit and give everyone a kebab stick or a fork. You can also use marshmallows and some vegetables but fruit is best.
