  1. You can try a free traffic Exchange service like TrafficSwarm at http://www.trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?56268...

    or WebCentreSurf at http://webcentresurf.com/?27972

You can try article marketing at an article submission service like http://www.ezinearticles.com and link back to your website in the resource box for your articles.

You can also comment on popular blogs like John Chow's or Joel Comm's that allow linkbacks to your URL. Do a Yahoo Search.

Create a video and upload it to YouTube with your URL flashed on the screen. All of these are free.

You should consider getting your own domain name and webhosting.  It's not free but the price is not unreasonable.  Part of the reason you get no traffic from SE's is the long URL with id's and names in there and most people know that freewebs is free.  People like URLS like www.abcdef.com better than www.abcdef.freewebs.com and advertising tinyurl's lack credibility too.

  2. try business networking,  i joined direct matches which is a network similar to facebook and myspace but are directed specifically at business people

you create a FREE profile containing your webpage, etc. and it's viewed by literally thousands of other members

through them, i was also able to advertise my site via the yellow pages , this offers great exposure to my site

if you're interested, here's the link i used

  3. Well you don't have to spam blogs. You can simply post educated answers for your blogs and simply include a link to your blog but you have to make sure you offer and educated answer to the post.
