  1. Be sure to check with your veterinarian before you decide to give your new puppy home made foods!!

    Cook time 1 hour-----

    1 lb ground beef

    1(24oz) container cottage cheese

    4 eggs

    1/2 cup dry powder milk

    1/4 cup wheat germ

    8 slices wheat bread crumbled

    8 cups cooked oatmeal

    4 cups cooked brown rice

In large bowl mix beef and cottage cheese, blend well add eggs powder milk and wheat germ and mix well Add crumbled bread oatmeal and brown rice and mix again well!!

Divide among ten small 51/2 X31/2 aluminum loaf pans place on cookie sheet. And bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour Cool at room tempter for 1 hour, then refrigerate. This is perishable only keep for 3 days in fridge!! Freeze the rest. To use defrost let set in refrigerate over night,Cut/ crumble loaf into bowl drizzle with water(not to much) and microwave for 20-30 Min's until warm-- Make sure you have no hot spots in this food for your dog since it will eat fast.Toss out any food that's left out more than 30 Min's.

  2. well some people give any types of food as long as its not candy ,chocolate , and some other types i can remember . well my friend gave her pup mostly milk , chicken , turkey , and cup of noodles

  3. I gave my staffy pup scrambled egg and he loves it,not too much though as their stomachs are only small. He enjoys mince now and then but make sure you give them proper puppy food too for their vitamins and minerals.as they are growin.maybe in later life you can treat them more with the homemade food.Everyone's opinions vary, but thats what we do.Dont give them chocolate, its toxic to dogs.Alot of people dont know that.

  4. Check my profile - I asked several questions about this before embarking on feeding my dog a home made diet and I got some really helpful answers. If it doesn't work out, then James Wellbeloved is a fabuluous feed, next best thing to home made - www.wellbeloved.com - it is hypoallergenic and has no additives etc. Good luck, feel free to email me.
