I have a new vegetarian restaurant and I need help!?

Question

My restaurant is to open soon. Do you have any good idea about its opening celebration? Something like: big moments,hightlights,fuuny activities or a wonderful rundown. I have nearly 3000 sq.m for having a fun. So really your help! May be just a sparkle idea !! Many thanks advance!

Is it just vegetarian or ?? contests with free food, coupons, guess the vegetable, clowns, walking veggie mascots, etc etc like a mini state fair..

yeah i like the previous poster... nothing like blood and guts guts and fat and heart attacks to whet the appetite..

make lots of appetizers, sauses, salads, drinks and all "make it your self" it'll be fun and you can play guess the stiff in it with eyes closed, something like that.

i LOVE trivia nights......you could do a celebrity veg game and have everyone form teams and try to guess who a celebrity vegetarian or vegan is from clues that you give.  for example:

what vegetarian actor starred in the following films?

clueless

blast from the past

batman & robin

answer: alicia silverstone

you could ask 20 or so questions like this and whatever team comes up with the most correct answers could get free appetizers or something.......

trivia nights are fun i think, and they get people talking and banding together.  it's a great time!

you could always ask other vegetarian/vegan vendors (clothing companies, bath/beauty products that are animal-testing free, etc.) to set up little booths and have kind of a vegetarian expo......that would be a great way to introduce other veg companies to your restaurant and get the whole veg community involved.

I love Vegetarian meals can't offer to much help just have fun and do as much stuff for the kids as you can (games,colour comps ect)  parents will love you for it hope all goes well.

have an attempt at beating the world record for longest vegetarian kebab. I don't know who hold the curren record or what the current record is, but I imagine it's beatable.
