I have a new volleyball net for my backyard. How high is a competition net, so i can practice my serve??

i think somewhere in between 7'4 and 7'6

8' for men

7'6' for women

For men the official FIVB height is 2.43m and for women it's 2.24m.  The net is measured from the middle and has to be the same height at the corners or not more than 2cm taller.  For younger players the height changes though.  For junior girls the height is 2.15m and boys is 2.24m.
