I have a newly installed

Question

I have a newly installed Kitchenaide dishwasher. The copper pipe is secure under the sink and appears connected properly to the dishwasher. When I turn the shut off valve on, water begans to run from underneath the dishwasher. There is no water under the sink. The plastic hose does not seem to be the problem.
