Question:

I have a nice large blister on my strumming finger....?

I want to know the safest way to pop it so that I can start playing again soon. Help.

  1. I wouldn't recommend popping because it's more likely to get infected that way which would further delay your ability to play.  Instead I would suggest going to your local pharmacy and looking for some stuff called mole skin.  It's kind of like a band-aid for blisters.  I first learned about it when I was hiking and got really bad blisters all over my feet and couldn't walk.  The moleskin kept the blisters imoblized and prevent them from subjected to more friction (which is what causes blisters in the first place) so they could heal.

    I would try to the moleskin until you develop a callous on your strumming finger.


  2. Hello, if it don't came to a head bust it and use some peroxide with some triple ointment cream. The ointment will heal it real fast. Hope this info helps. God bless, take care..
