  1. You can use any lens with a Nikon bayonet mount. However, go to the Phoenix web site and check the lens specs. It will state what Nikon bodies will and work not work with you lens. Converters? They actually alter the lens and that could diminish image quality.


  2. Yes you need a T-mount adapter for Nikon.

    T-mount is the standard mount for mounting SLR cameras to telescopes.  You could also mount that lens on a Minolta, Canon, Pentax, Sony, etc with the proper adapter.
