  1. the memory card may be bad

    go to yahoo search

    type photo rescue

  2. Do what the rest of us do ... get the camera out of the loop.  Buy a $10 card reader and use it to copy all your images to your computer (or if your computer has a SD card port, use it).

I think I stopped copying my images from my camera to the computer about four months after I bought my D100 .. nearly six years ago.

  3. HI there.... you probably don't have that card reader and might not get one today... but you want to know if the problem is with the Memory Card.  Run the memory card over to Walgreens or CVS or where ever in your city has a 1 hour photo lab.  They can take the card and load it to see if there is problem.  If you want them to.... they will burn your pics to a CD.   You really do need a card reader... for one thing... it saves on the camera's battery life.   Here's a thought...  while you are trying to load the pics to the computer... is the camera battery well charged up.  If not,  that could be the problem..  Just a couple of things to throw out at you.  Hope you get those pics.    Thanks for reading.
