  1. call me  and i will take them off you hands @ 770-297-7943 and ask for michele

  2. send them to the company that makes them!

  3. Hello.  I've wondered the same thing and your question prompted me to do a quick internet search.  I found quite a lot of information, including repeated recommendations to stop using such bottles, but nowhere could I find what to do with them.  In a recent copy of my Surfriders' Foundation newletter there was information about how these BPA plastics may be a hazard in landfills, so I guess I would rule out the garbage as a solution.  I know that as recyclables these are way low on the list and some centers won't even take them.  However, if you can find a place to take them that might be your best bet.  They are less likely to end up in a landfill or dump that way, and maybe someone actually has a safe method of recycling these.

Information from consumer reports can be found here:  http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/consu...

  4. who cares.  You'll switch to another kind of bottle and in 6 years, studies will show it can cause cancer.  Everything causes cancer!

Explain to me how they could conduct that research without any outside interference from other projects.  Did they lock people in rooms for 25 years and only let them drink from a nalgene bottle?

There are so many other factors to consider.
