  1. I believe that the eggs are going to hatch one way or the other, but you might need to gently rotate the sack now and then so that the eggs don't get crushed.  Make sure you have them in a large container that they can not excape from.  As for food, you can try cutting the head off of a couple of crickets and droping them into the cage.

Was this spider caught localy?  If so your best solution might be to take the container they are in and put it outside under a bush with some kind of shelter so that rain won't collect in it and hope for the best.  Spiderlings are very difficult to care for.

Better Idea - If you want to try to keep some of them, you can try to put a single spiderling into a very small container, like a clean test tube or eye dropper bottle, that has some soil and cap it with cotton.  You can give it water and moisture by wetting the cotton (not so it is dripping) and you can feed it with fruit flies that you might be able to get at your local petco.  When they are large enough, you can feed them pinhead crickets.  Upgrade cage size when needed.

haha. sorry. i doont like spiders =)

  3. I like spiders, too.  I've hatched them, even black widows.  What I suggest is that you only keep 2 or 3 and keep them in separate containers (danger of eating each other) and release the others in the same or similar area where you found them.  Often, I scatter them when I release them, to help keep them from eating each other and/or competing for the same food.  I feel sure that some of them live, but not all will live.

The best thing I do, though, is leave them ALONE and observe without bothering them.  I like it when creatures build homes and I can watch them or check on them every day.  Some I water or feed if I'm sure they need it.  Mostly I just watch and learn.  It's wonderful.

    Live well and do good.
