  1. Try this stuff called NEVR-DULL, its a type of chrome polish, usually takes off that kind of stuff. if not, lightly use some car polishing compound


  2. Removing the rust and shining it will only degrade the value of the sword. If it is valuable, take it someone that deals in swords. Till then, DON"T CLEAN IT. Keep is well oiled to avoid more rusting.
