I have a package to send but i cant let my parents know about it?

i want to ship a package from indiana to michigan, i don't know anything about UPS.

can someone please explain the basics to me?

how long will shipping take? i plan on sending a small package that weighs about 1.5 lbs.

i just want to send a cd along with a few other things.

what will the cost be?? how many stamps?

UPS is not the United States Post Service which acquires stamps. UPS does not take stamps. You have to go to a UPS store which you could locate at ups.com and they will send the package for you. It will probably cost you around $5 and it will be at the location maybe in around 3-6 days.

So what did you do and why can't they know? Just kidding. It really shouldn't cost that much. I lived in Michigan and the two aren't that far away. Where are you and the other person and how far away in terms of distance. What town are you and the other person in?
