At first I thought it could be a swollen pimple coming in but now I think it could be a sweat gland. When looking at it you can't see anything, it's right under the surface of the skin, is the size of a finger tip and is really painful. whenever i move my arm around it hurts or when i touch it. I've been really active lately and sweating more. Could it be a clogged sweat gland??

  1. sounds like an infected gland, which can be bad. Go to the doctor sooner rather then later and voice your concerns

  2. Please see a doctor soon, lymph nodes are located all over your body and are a good indication of infection and disease. Have you had a recent injury to your hand or arm on this side?  My grandson had a place on his hand that wasn't healing - swollen, red, warm to the touch - upon closer look he had a red streak that ran from his little pinky all the way up his arm to his arm pit where the lymph nodes were swollen and tender.  It took 2 shots of a high powered antibiotic and 14 days of oral medication to clear it up.

  3. You need to see a doctor about this, not asking strangers for help over the internet. It does sound like it might be a gland that might be infected. But it could be any number of other things that require medical attention.
