I have a paint tray liner, but no paint tray...?

i'm about to buy a paint tray, so i was wondering does it matter what kind of paint tray i buy, as in do they all come the same size? or should i take note of the size of the paint tray liners?

I think they are mostly the same width but some are shorter than others.

I would guess that any liner would work, but to be safe, measure your liner.  Can't hurt to measure.

just take the liner with you.see if it fits in the store.

most stores would rather let you carry it in than buy the wrong thing and have to return it

Obviously, your paint liner should fit the paint tray. I always bought the tray before liners as the tray is the more important part.
