  1. I have 2 similar phones, both work differently.

But I might be able to give you an idea.

    *grabbing phone*

oh c**p, i just run over the xmas decorations when i wheeled the chair..

nm..ok this phone a uniden, has 2 volume buttons.  when i press the up arrow, it changes the ringer to high.  try that.

when i press down arrow, it goes to low, then ringer off.

that's that phone..now i don't have the other phone with me, it broke, but that one I think you had to go into either menu, or select.

but i think the first one is probably what you need to look for.

good luck..hope ed mcmahon gets ahold of you.

  2. I think you got a Panasonic with a 2 or 3 line LCD display on handset. These handsets should have a MENU key or similar key like SETTING. Press this button then scroll the menu using the up or down arrow key. Look for the phone setting menu or similar sub menu. There should be a ringer selection (HI, LOW, OFF).

    Good luck!

  3. google the serial number you will get the manual: e.g panasonic ac-345

  4. should be a button on the side of the phone that says, Ringer OFF/ON. slide it to the ON position.
