My boss has asked me to record some inventory in some homes, he handed me this camcorder (he borrowed from someone else), I said sure, but there is no manual, I have looked on line, and found a bit of information, but no down loadable manual to figure out how to use the thing.

However, I did record manage to push a few buttons and start recording, I practiced on my house, with the tape that was in the camera, but when trying to view it, I found that there was stuff, before what I had recorded about someones family and volleyball game, but can someone please, (and don't say I am stupid please, I think I can figure that out).... tell me how to erase what I recorded????? I practiced on recording stuff in my house, I thought that all you need to do was re-record over the stuff I recorded, but it doesnt seem to work that way.....help help help. Can I just erase my footage, leave it then go and buy some new tapes.

how the heck does one get rid of something they recorded. Can someone please help me???

  1. Just rewind and record with the lens cap on. You can rewind and tape over. There isn't a way to erase it. Make sure your boss buys a new tape for your work. That was silly of him, wasn't it?
