I have a panosonic sc-pt450 dvd home theater system, how do i get sky and tv to work through it.?

it is currently connected to the tv with a scart lead.there must be a simple way to do it. the manual really confuses me!

sky, and tv in general, broadcast in stereo i.e. two speakers

and the stereo is a 5.1 surround i.e. 5 speakers and one sub woofer. So you will only get sound through two of the five speakers...to get sound, you get a double phono( the red and white cables) and plug in one end into the audio out of the sky box, they will be at the back one red and one white. then use the other end to plug into the AUX of the home theater, this should also be at the back...
