  1. Being confident is a really good thing because it shows that you are sure of yourself or whatever it is that you are confident about. ex... I studied for 2 weeks and I am confident that I will pass the exam. To be arrogant is to think you know everything and people who are arrogant are usually stubborn and have a know it all attitude. ex..... I KNOW this material and I don't have to study or... I am the smartest kid in the class and he will never get a better grade than me. People who are arrogant are also ignorant and sometimes rude. Hope this helps!!

  2. They are different levels of the same thing.  When you get in an argument with someone, you usually believe your ideas are right, or else you wouldn't believe them.  That's confidence.  We all should have confidence, its a good thing, right?

Well I'm sure you've been in arguments where the other person was so sure he was right that he didn't even listen to what you had to say. He might not even have let you speak.  That's arrogance.  It's the same thing as confidence but more so, to the point where it is no longer a good thing, it is counterproductive.

  3. arrogance means too much pride. its revealing their importance or ablities, showing off. stubborn. thinking they re better
