I have a passport , which was taken in a tatkaal scheame, ?

it was expired because of i was away from the address which was given in passport.and now this is shown in status that file is closed.

what to do for this?? should i go for new form

I think u may update the passport if it is not possible go for a new one.

You have this passport in your pocession.Apply for a new one in the new form, making reference to this in the colum of previous passport.No other documents except your residential prood (like ration card) is required for getting the new one.If you require immediately, you can apply in the 'Tatkal Scheme' again.Please remember to take the old passport which will be returned back to you after defacing it.If you apply by post, enclose the old passport.
