Pea gravel is rough on the feet. I seen at Lowes a concrete repair. This seem too thin but don't know. Be specific in your answer as to what I need...

  1. no, better off pouring a slab

  2. Depends on how much you can spend.  Overlay is a material that is very thin but very very strong and can be put over concrete and stamped into a pattern to look like stone or tile, but it is costly, and a professional normally does this work.

  3. I assume you are talking about "exposed aggregrate" (do a google image search), which is concrete, but the surface is washed slightly as it cures to expose some of the aggregate (pea gravel, in your case).  The problem is that concrete doesn't like being thin.  It has very poor peel strength and will flake off. The repair compounds are meant usually for cracks, not to apply to the surface.

There *are* some various "paints" or coatings that will create a color and may smooth the texture but only slightly.

If you're talking about pea gravel (without the concrete), then I also don't think there's anything workable, short of pouring concrete, with all the proper rebar and framing, etc., at 4" thick or more.
