  1. You just have to be patient and wait your turn.  They have an awful lot of work to do.  Best of luck.

  2. USCIS.GOV is the homeland security website there u can get a bit of information about your case or just call them and ask to talk to an agent 1-800-375-5283 (TTY 1-800-767-1833) but  you must know that  immigration is really back up lately many cases are late because the amount of cases all over the country. Just be patient GOOD LUCK

  3. Hello Ravi

One question. Your spouse is a US Citizen or a US Resident?

If your spouse petition for you being a US Resident, your case will take about 6 years or more.

If your spouse is a US Citizen, it should take less time. Please consider that USCIS is overloaded with petitions and that they are trying to do there best. You can check your status at http://www.uscis.gov. The information provided is going to be the same that's on your receipt. You have no choice but to wait patiently for your approval, when you least expect it, you are going for your biomatrix appointment.

    Best of Luck!

  4. doode im on the same process i sent my stuff at the end of july and i already got the receipt and the appointment for biometrics and fingerprinting for this 20th and i live in new jersey maybe it is due to the area your in or where u sent it i sent it to chicago so maybe thats why is moving faster but all i recommend is be patient if you've waited the most wait the less you know but also i recommend you to call them or even make an appointment in your local immigration center b/c i had my stuff rejected before when they transfered my stuff from NY to laguna nigel soo contact your lawyer or immigration and try to find out also if you move places dont forget to fill out the r-11 form son they send your stuff and good luck i wish you the best of lucks....
