  1. It may be worth something to collectors of stock or other financial instruments.  Ebay it.


  2. Indeed, it is likely worth only a few dollars, if anything, partly because by1960 the PRR was in real trouble, financially.

  3. Not really, just a few dollars. Look on E-bay. There's dozens of certificates listed all the time. They really don't have any value, but it's hard to bring yourself to just throw 'em away too.

  4. No its garbage, but I collect garbage for my scrapbook. If you don't want it, send it to me.

  5. Sadly the certificate is not worth anything except to collectors. If you are interested in making a bit of money on it, you might think about listing it on eBay or placing an ad in your newspaper. You know certificates from that era were really very beautiful with lots of flourishes and all, so you might think about keeping it for a scrapbook or passing it to your children for its sheer beauty. Whatever you do with it, don't just throw it away, it's part of history and that is priceless!
