I have a permit and i got in a car accident. ?

My mom was in the car with me. I was wondering if this would delay the date of when i get my drivers license. I live in texas.

Were the cops called?  If not, it won't delay anything.  It probably won't be delayed anyway.

You should be fine. As long as your mom was in the car with you then you weren't doing anything illegal. Accidents happen sometimes! Glad your okay!

You did not mention what state issued the permit. In some states if the accident was your fault you could lose the permit for a period of time. If it was not your fault you have nothing to worry about.
